Why choose organic cotton and chemical free clothing?

Non organic cotton famers use a pesticide called Endosulfan, a highly toxic chemical harmful to humans, animals and the environment. By choosing organic cotton and organic clothing, there are no pesticides used in the process. For more information on Endosulfan: click here.

There has been reports in Australia of massive deaths of fish populations from the use of Endosulfan, the pesticide used on cotton farming. It is reported that only 25% of crop dusting pesticides actually lands on the cotton crops. Apart from run off and environmental damage, birds and frogs drop dead from being exposed to Endosulfan.

Endosulfan has been shown to persist on the hands of pest control operators for 31 days after exposure.
