The Panda’s native home is China.
Today there are only approximately 1000 of these cute cuddle Panda bears left in the wild.
With the expansion of farmlands and the clearing of forests, the resulting fragmented bamboo areas, which they feed and breed on, are making life for the Pandas very difficult.
Man is still the Pandas biggest threat, poaching remains a very serious problem.
Through donations to the worldwide non-profit organisation Pandas International, reserves have been set up to help preserve there habitat. In the hope of saving the giant panda from extinction, drastic change is critical to help save these beautiful creatures for future generations.
