Tree Nation has pledged to plant 8 million trees in the shape of a heart in Niger, Sahelian Nation.
Mitta Mitta's first commitment is to plant a tree seed for every 5 garments sold and we will review this every few months in the hope of planting more and more trees.
The benefits of being in a partnership with Tree-Nation, Mitta Mitta clothing has a much needed opportunity to contribute through its sales, to the planting of trees in such places as Africa, by putting back to the environment what desertification has taken out.
Through planting trees we are able to off-set a percentage of our carbon footprint we place on the environment. As a bonus, providing much needed employment to local groups of these areas where the trees are being planted.
